Oh the excitement!

The surprise on their faces when they returned from Breens and saw that we had a new interactive TV! We had to try it out with a movie at lunch. This new piece of technology will be utilised by the senior teachers. It will be used predominantly out in our shared space where guided group sessions are run. https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1UiXgukrxCSkbJ3tUX-eIpAXkM9E0X5JShttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1908gRJG7Q1pTrQhNJnzVEOgvP5wgk_3_https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=18ZeyH0apRNcH5JDkhSergc6EWhGkcrIOhttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1SKOJtBSvGvfREUrAdb5bblN_cS-eYEcbhttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1QiJ8l4DpUpL4py8NpEllCiWKscmYNYYp

Let’s get writing!

The seniors are participating in a nationwide writing swap run by School Kit. Room 22 have been partnered up with Maeroa Intermediate in Hamilton. We have been preparing poems to send which will be collected by courier next week. Students at Maeroa Intermediate are doing the same. 96,000 students are participating this year. Today we used 3D glasses to unveil hidden messages within the class poem we wrote yesterday. https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1gpBCpNd_J0da8OZuae2Skzvt-IDUHkIRhttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1dm44dGmso-WSnLwli94twCbZXgzi037Zhttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1mvV37idJb99SklyLCf2D90BgxygpwOI2https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1ToquIN6AJ8qGZscVJYlTvwRDF_l0kZpGhttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1ejgG42jJWI5s70yKS1ppLKBPX5jXnlVqhttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1I3Q0vzPAhRwJJjDl8F6CPA1ErjQ_IEWxhttps://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1wNCbTxTbgZ8dSR1hesRGe7R2VrGX4k02

Storytelling!

This term we are working with a Scottish tale called The Piper's Boots. Mrs J told us the story yesterday and then we drew pictures for our story maps. Today we had to use our picture cues to re tell the story to a buddy. Oliver impressed the class by showing enough courage to retell the story to the whole class from his memory!
He has us all hooked, what a great storyteller you are Oliver.
